  • Why do I need Auto Insurance in Idaho?

Very simply--It’s the law.  The state of Idaho, and virtually every state in the United States, requires drivers/vehicle owners to comply with the minimum financial responsibility requirements.  In the state of Idaho, the minimum coverage amounts for auto insurance policies is $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident for bodily injury and $15,000 for property damage.  For specifics regarding the law consult the Idaho Statutes, Title 49, Chapter 12 .
